Kingfishers Nursing and Residential Care Home - Care at Kingfishers
We are very proud of the home and the care we can provide.
We are dedicated to providing the highest level of care for our residents. We have nursing care staff working 24 hours a day, every day. We have a dedicated training manager who makes sure every member of staff recieves the training they require. We have a very holistic approach to care, thus assuring that every type of need the resident has, is cared for. We have our own Activities Officer, to ensure that every day is interesting for residents and that any previous hobbies are provided for as best as possible.
Each resident will recieve a dedicated and personalised care plan when they arrive. We involve both the residents and their families in this. The plan ensures each resident recieved personalised care.
Accomodation at Kingfishers
Each of the private rooms at Kingfishers, of which 21 are single and 12 are shared, is individual in style and comfortably furnished. Each room has a personal alarm call system, TV point and a telephone point on request. The majority of the rooms also benefit from en-suite facilities.
Residents are encouraged to bring their own personal effects and furniture if they wish, to make their rooms feel more familiar.

We believe that good meals are the highlight of each day, so we take pleasure in providing delicious home cooking. Menus are varied and a selection of appetising choices is available. Special dietary requirements and personal preferences are taken into account.
